Bio

Hello, I'm Jessica Terrell, a dedicated graphic designer with a profound love for all things creative. I  take pride in my accomplishments as a skilled graphic designer, backed by a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Communications Management and a Minor in Digital Marketing. This has equipped me with a strong foundation to create visually stunning and meaningful designs. My journey in design has been driven by a curiosity to transform ideas into captivating visual experiences. With 2 industry internships and over 700 hours worth of experience I developed a keen eye for detail and a flair for combining aesthetics with functionality. I thrive on crafting designs that resonate. Whether it's through vibrant colors, elegant typography, or thought-provoking compositions, I aspire to leave a lasting impression with every project I undertake.

Leading Roles

While receiving my Bachelors degree I served as President of the Graphic Communications Team within Second Story Media at Appalachian State University. I undertook a dynamic leadership role in a mission-driven environment. Collaborating closely with a dedicated team, I orchestrated impactful projects that harnessed the power of design to serve non-profit businesses in Boone. By merging creativity with social responsibility, we developed innovative visual solutions that aligned with the unique narratives of each non-profit partner. Through strategic planning and effective project management, we executed branding initiatives, digital campaigns, and print materials that elevated the visibility and outreach of these organizations. This experience not only refined my leadership skills but also deepened my understanding of the symbiotic relationship between design and community impact. Together, our efforts left a lasting impression, forging stronger connections between non-profits and the local community while nurturing a passion for design with a purpose.
